Part 2: Ep. 1 - The Comfort Zone Isn't The Enemy
In this episode of Notes From the Couch, we're slowing down on something the world has gotten wrong about the comfort zone — that it's automatically the enemy.
Sometimes the comfort zone is exactly where you need to be. Recovery, stability, and rest are legitimate. The conversation gets more complicated when comfort quietly becomes complacency — and we stop noticing the difference between staying because we need to and staying because it's easier than facing what's on the other side.
This episode touches on two concepts worth knowing — negativity bias and neuroplasticity — and what both of them mean for the patterns you've been living in. It's the first in a four-part series exploring the zones we move through when we're doing real inner work.
