What it means to be emboldened:

Embolden (v): to give someone the courage, confidence, and resolution to act, often in the face of fear or hesitation. That's the work. And it's why I chose this name intentionally. Here's how we do it together.

  • This is about collaboration. You're not being led, pushed, or 'treated.' You bring your story — your experiences, your patterns, what's brought you here. I bring the therapeutic expertise to help make sense of it. Together, we build the direction of the work, with you setting the pace. We figure things out together, because that's the only way it actually works.

  • Sometimes life all feels like too much and it's creating a tangled mess in your mind, but I'm not lost, even when you feel like you are. I find the common themes and the right thread to pull to begin untangling it. Together, we focus on understanding patterns, reactions, and experiences in a way that actually makes sense, so change feels grounded rather than forced.

  • The work happens in two places.

Inside: in this room, and within yourself. We explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns in a way that creates real understanding.

Outside: in your relationships, your decisions, your hardest moments.

The strategies we build together are meant to go with you, so you feel capable and confident to try something different. To move toward the life you've envisioned, the connections that matter, and the person you truly are.

  • For too many people, a diagnosis becomes something that's done to them, a label that someone else holds over them, that defines how they're treated, that takes the power out of their hands. That's not how it works here. Your diagnosis informs how I approach the work by helping me identify the most effective strategies for you. But it never runs the show. You do. And if understanding your diagnosis is part of reclaiming that power and owning your experience, I welcome that too. This is about getting your power back.

Hi, I'm Jen, and you'll always work with me.

I love what I do. I have spent my entire career working with people - seeing their value, their potential, and helping them learn and grow. Teaching. Coaching. Counseling. All of it. And I love it because I love connecting with people. This passion for human connection can be felt the second you step into my office — or log in online — because you'll actually sense the safety, warmth, and heart I bring to this work.
