Three Roles. One Purpose.

Hello!

Connection Has Always Been the Work.

From the classroom to the gym to the counseling room, my work
has always revolved around one core belief:

Growth happens best when people feel understood, safe, and empowered, not judged.

For over a decade, I worked with kids from preschool through middle school, and what I loved most was never the curriculum. It was the connection. Teaching taught me how to meet people where they are, how to listen for what's not being said, and how to hold space for both challenge and possibility. Those skills didn't stay in the classroom; they followed me into every room I've worked in since.

In 2019, I added another chapter. I became a CrossFit coach and personal coach (work I continue part-time today). Coaching deepened my appreciation for the mind-body connection, and for the resilience that develops when someone keeps showing up, especially when it's hard. I saw firsthand how powerful it is to have someone genuinely in your corner.

When I became a therapist, all of those threads came together. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Training (LPC-IT), and at Embolden I bring the educator, the coach, and the counselor into one room to support the full, complex, very human experience of being alive.

I blend heart and evidence. Curiosity and structure. Lightness and depth. Because real healing isn't one-size-fits-all.

Outside the therapy room, I'm a lifelong learner, a lover of stories, and someone who values humor, honesty, and heart. I enjoy time with my family, being outdoors, live music, and exploring new places. Even better if I can do more than one of these at the same time!

Sound like someone you'd want in your corner? Let's talk.

You belong here.

Long before I became a therapist, I was an advocate. In the classroom, I fought for the kids who felt unseen, misunderstood, or like they didn't quite fit. In many ways, I was striving to be the person I needed in my own life.

That commitment hasn't changed. If anything, in a world that increasingly asks people to shrink, conform, or justify their existence, it feels more important than ever.

At Embolden, all are welcome, just as you are. I honor and respect each person's identity, lived experience, and story. This includes race, ethnicity, culture, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious or spiritual beliefs, body size, relationship structure, ability, and the many other ways we move through the world.

This space is grounded in safety, dignity, and connection. Whether you are still figuring things out or simply looking for a place to be fully seen, you belong here. No prerequisites. No exceptions.
